Singer Anushka Manchanda tells us about her love for street shopping

Is shopping a necessary evil?
A. I have two words for you..retail therapy.
Are you an impulsive shopper or do you think before you spend?
A. I'm a healthy mix of both of the above.
Do you enjoy street shopping?
A. I love street shopping. It's like a quick fix!

What are your favourite brands and designers?
A. Balmain is my current favourite. I'm dying to get my hands on those hot little dresses, the super sexed-out jeans and the jackets!

Has the recession affected your shopping?
A. I used to be a crazy shopper, now I'm much better. So I've been pretty good all year!

What is your favourite accessory?
A. It's a toss up with between neck chains and multiple thick bangles.

What are the must-haves in your handbag?
A. Besides my cards, I carry my i-Pod, my in-ears, and a liner stick.

Shopping hubs: Dubai, New York city and Chaatuchat market in Thailand.
Casual outfit: Jeans, flat boots and a ganji.
Formal attire: I don't really need to dress formally, and I don't like to either. If I have to, I wear well-fitted jeans, a jacket and boots.
Party wear: Short dresses and super high heels.
